There is something mesmerizing about new life. Watching baby chicks discover how to scratch in the dirt, or flap their wings is amazing. There are so many sights that are potent and full of the possibility of deep epiphany. Simply looking at the moon on a clear night, or a tree slowly coming into bud can lead us to deeply profound appreciation. Life is full around us, especially in the spring of the northern hemisphere. Thanks be to God, this is the day the Lord has made, it is appropriate to rejoice and be glad in it.
